Mommy Mundo’s MomCon 2024: #CalltoConnect
Humans are naturally wired for connection, but recent global challenges have highlighted new parenting concerns, from the impacts of technology and online security to the critical need for mental health and well-being. MomCon 2024 is Mommy Mundo’s proactive response to these pressing issues, providing a supportive space for parents to address today’s most urgent needs.
Taking place on Saturday, November 23, at the Samsung Hall, SM Aura, MomCon 2024 aims to help every mom deepen the three most essential forms of connection: Connection within Ourselves (Wellbeing), Connection with Our Children and Family (Parenting), and Connection with Each Other and with Trusted Brands (Community).

Our vision is to bring together moms, dads and the parenting world all in one space answering the call to connect by bringing forth important discussions on urgent concerns of parents and society today.”
The event opens with Wellbeing Learnings: Connecting with Ourselves. This track emphasizes that our ability to connect with our children and others is grounded in how deeply we connect with ourselves. Parents will gain insights into the significance of inner work and discover tools to practice self-care, empowering them to cultivate self-connection in themselves and, in turn, guide their children in doing the same.
Topics include Mental Health, Parenting the Child in You, The Mind-Body-Soul Connection, and Mindfulness. Featured speakers for Track 1 include Leah Eriguel, Dr. Tippy Tanchanco, Gang Badoy Capati, and Dr. Joanna Herrera, with Janice Villanueva as moderator.
The early afternoon session features Parenting Learnings: Connecting with Our Children. With diverse learning environments and a variety of parenting styles beyond the traditional, it’s essential for parents to explore different approaches to choose what best supports their child’s resilience and success in a fast-paced world.
Topics will include Progressive Parenting, Education Options, and Making Meaningful Connections with Our Children and Others. Featured speakers for Track 2 are Jeannie Castillo, Kit Malvar Llamas, Tina Zamora, Danny and Lala Dy, Edric Mendoza, and Didi Manahan, with Maricel Laxa Pangilinan as moderator.
Mid-afternoon features Environment Learnings: Connecting with the World. This track emphasizes that a deep connection with our family begins with making wise choices for our financial security, allowing us to be fully present for ourselves and our loved ones. Parents will explore the importance of understanding generational differences and learn how to approach the world their children navigate—combining their own wisdom with curiosity and respect for new advancements.
Topics include Financial Wellness, Minding the Generation Gap, Technology, Social Media, and AI. Featured speakers for Track 3 are Catherine Jalandoni and Roki Ferrer, with a special segment by Insular Life, moderated by Dimples Romana.
The late afternoon session, Community Learnings: Connection Time, celebrates Mommy Mundo’s commitment to fostering a supportive community. This track focuses on integrating the day’s insights, offering parents a chance to connect with one another, as well as with parenting experts and brands dedicated to meaningful engagement.
It will be a time for reflection, guided roundtable discussions, and networking among attendees and resources. This segment will be facilitated by Leah Eriguel, Benz Rana, Janice Villanueva, and other parent coaches.
FINAL THOUGHTS
Staying informed about the latest parenting challenges, issues, and opportunities is more important—and more challenging—than ever.
